The Brazilian methodology encourages a more skill-based style of play. It promotes the learning of a variety of techniques that allow players to be creative and innovative on the field. All techniques will be simplified and taught step by step to the young learners.
Everson Maciel, founder and owner of Everson Soccer Academy, would be the director of all ESA camps. Maciel is a professional soccer player, originally from Brazil, still playing professionally in the United Soccer League for the Western Mass Pioneers. Maciel brings his passion, skills, and experience to the program. Maciel is player oriented, emphasizing a value of creating and maintaining relationships with players and local soccer communities. Maciel currently resides in the New Haven area and looks forward to continuing the facilitation of year round programs within the local clubs, as well as expanding knowledge and love for the game to your club.
